VENTILATION / AIR CIRCULATION:
Insure and maintain good air ventilation where possible, on central type systems Where possible set up controls to run 100% Fresh air and dump “exhaust” the return Air into the out side atmosphere. This then limits the movement of unwanted pathogens Keep systems running longer hours (24/7 if possible).
FILTRATION:
Improve central air and other HVAC filtration to MERV-15 (ASHRAE 2017b) or the highest level achievable.
Most buildings besides medical facilities have std washable filters which is a Hepa Filter achieve the MERV-18 as used in high level medical facilities. Reason is system not designed top handle the pressures loss these filters create.
Following the above it is crucial to keep HVAC systems serviced and well maintained and improve on system ventilation and filters where possible.
TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY:
Maintain a constant temperature and humidity recommended RH 40% to 60% (Mousavi et al. (2019) report that the scientific literature generally reflects the most unfavourable survival for microorganisms when the RH is between 40% and 60%).
Data and research show us that if people in offices, hospitals, and schools manage their indoor relative humidity at 40-60%, human immune mechanisms for physiological defence are improved.
Not only does humidifying the indoor environment decrease infectious pathogens in the air we breathe, it also bolsters our own immune systems, which is critical, now more than ever.
MAINTENANCE:
It is crucial to keep HVAC systems serviced and well maintained and improve on system ventilation and filters where possible.
All the above we must still insure it is done in conjunction with daily staff sanitisation and safe work procedures set out for SARS-CoV-19 virus regulations an guidelines.
Dteq Air are also looking at other means to improve building’s and create safer working environment. We will be offering air quality tests and decontamination, for all building types.
THE NOCOTECH AUTOMATED CONCEPT FOR DISINFECTION
The Nocotech automated concept of disinfection consists of a submicron diffusing process using a biodegradable disinfectant (Nocolyse, Nocolyse one shot, Nocolyse food) which is dispersed via an automated disinfection device. The disinfection device transforms the disinfecting liquid into a completely dry fog. This is achieved by generating a particle size of less than 5 micron through high- speed diffusion. The process therefore creates a dry gas which disinfects all surfaces without exception. This is particularly useful for unreachable areas which are difficult to get to and clean. Every square centimeter of the space is disinfected with a lethal effect on COVID-19 as well as staphylococcus (including MRSA), enterococcus (including VRE), H5N1, H1N1, legionella, aspergillus niger, candida albicans and other highly infectious microorganisms to > 6 -log reduction.
NOCOLYSE
The world's most powerful disinfectant which is non-allergenic, non-corrosive to all surfaces including electronic devices and completely safe because it leaves absolutely no residue. Nocolyse has been tested and approved by theNRCS (National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications which took transfer of the regulatory functions from the SABS in 2008).
Nocolyse is being used in operating theatres, isolation and intensive care wards as well as laboratories where COVID-19 and other dangerous pathogens are prevalent. The disinfection process destroys pathogens like bacteria, mould, fungi and viruses that exist on surfaces and in the air, thus decontaminating the entire space. Regular disinfection is essential to ensure continuous infection control to protect employees, families and children.

In addition to generally applicable health and safety protocols, each sector must agree upon a COVID-19 prevention and mitigation plan, approved by the Minister of Health and any other Minister relevant to the sector.
Individual businesses or workplaces must have COVID-19 risk assessments and plans in place, and must conduct worker education on COVID-19 and protection measures:
